Why you REALLY SHOULD consider my Home from Home Boarding Facility - - My understanding/education of canine behaviours and pack mentality - Cuddles and affection on demand - Absolutely no kennels - Heaps of reassurance, soft talk and rewards for good behaviour/training. - Other friendly dogs to socialize and play with. - Sofa's, armchairs and fluffy dog beds. - 2 extremely energetic 40mins walks per day. 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Encouraging ON/OFF lead work, dog/human socialization and car journeys. (All weather conditions will be taken into consideration when walking. Your dog will only be walked if safe to do so! Extreme heat or heavy storm weather means no walkies! Although I will endeavour to plan ahead and work around weather warnings to ensure your dog does get exercised. If an impossibility for your dog to be walked he/she will be drained of energy indoors by being encouraged to play and run around). - Grooming - Fully enclosed and safe garden - Medication administration - Fully Insured inc Public Liability - Agility Course Available - Happy to work with behavioural issues whilst boarding, at a surcharge - Nightly and weekly rates available Before your best friend can come and join my doggy clan for boarding, a FREE meet and greet is necessary to establish the sociability of your pooch. Why BOARDING KENNELS are an absolute NO NO and why I decided to start offering a home from home alternative - This is the story of my beloved Great Dane 'Tom' RIP 2004. Tom in perfect health passed away in BOARDING KENNELS aged 3 years old from a heart attack having been in 5 star kennels less than 36 hours! It was presumed by all including veterinary and kennel staff that he had suffered a genuine broken heart. The severity of his anxiety in this strange and new environment and away from the only family he knew had lead to his heart failing. Tom went from being a young and healthy much loved and cuddled family member to an imprisoned dog in an extremely foreign, strange and scary environment. Sadly this ultimately killed him, and very quickly. I have never kennelled a dog since! Lesson learnt in the worst way possible. Therefore please consider my wonderful alternative, and have your dog come and stay with my pooches and I, in what is a safe and loving environment and which will hopefully similarly replicate that of your own home.
